"The Library Builder from Virtual Chemistry provides us a powerful and elegant means to create and manage our combinatorial libraries. VCI's successful deployment of the Library Builder has removed a key bottleneck in our combichem process."

allows chemists to rapidly construct a combinatorial library
using a drag and drop interface. All reagents, reactions, and compounds are
tracked in a relational database.
All compounds receive a unique ID across all libraries;
if a compound is synthesized again, it reuses its original ID.
The complete state of all libraries is
stored in a database; the exact synthetic sequence for any compound in any library
can be traced.
Files, which drive synthesis robots, are
output automatically by Library Builder; the tedious and error prone
specification of robot files is eliminated.
By effectively handling the complex informatics of combinatorial library
generation, Library Builder allows the chemist to focus on the chemistry of
interest using a drag-and- drop interface for specifying library synthesis steps.
